Break the stereotype

Dr. Alan Jackson of New Orleans Seminary spoke at the Summer Slam last night on breaking the stereotype and it got me to thinking; it seems like youth are expected to be selfish and not care about the things of God; to be honest sometimes, it surprises me when a teenager shows love for others or puts others ahead of themselves. So, it looks like I'm part of the problem also! My goal is to expect teens to put others ahead of themselves and show a love for the word of God. Let's break the stereotype this year and let God be our boss in all things.
