2nd Harvest

Last night our group went to the New Orleans 2nd Harvest Food Bank. We worked for three hours sorting all types of food that will be distributed to the hungry in most of Louisiana. I felt like this was service the way God meant it to be; there was no one to pat us on the back, we won't see the people who will benefit; it was just working and going home knowing God used us is a small way. One of our youth leaders, Dave, pointed out that we need more opportunities to serve where no one is there to give us credit. It is enough with the simple fact that God knows we allowed Him to use us! Check out our pics page for some pictures of the evening.
